I fell into a trap of divination, 
seeking answers from the angels.
I thought they were the angels of the Lord,
but they were the spirits of the underworld.
I saw the liars seducing youngsters 
with white magic—
they have convinced the multitudes
that magic rituals are pure
if to practice them solely for a cure 
of our bodies and souls 
and intend no harm—
just buy some crystals, candles, incense, 
and . . . wait . . . 
you need a pendulum . . . and runes . . . 
and ahh! Come to the spiritual séance! 
Exclusive!
Fascinated, I had to check, 
investigate every detail, 
I was dying,
I was dying to know everything . . .
I didn’t even notice 
when I bit the fruit of the forbidden tree . . .

Tormented by the demons, 
I, stubborn like a wicked kid, 
continued to meditate
with crystals on my palms,
pleading Father to explain
my visions and my dreams, 
some as frightening as hell,
to show me mercy, and my purpose
and fix my worsening health;
that very moment 
I saw the Lord Christ Jesus 
towering above me
like a giant eucalyptus tree . . . 

How many times
I asked for His forgiveness 
I do not recall—a lot! 
I was mortified by the realization 
of my betrayal,
I couldn’t fall asleep without 
a sincere prayer.
He mercifully came 
to raise me up,
and be my precious ruby, 
my everlasting candle flame, 
and my sweet, healing incense,
and my jaw dropping miracle, 
and my pure white bridal lore,
and my gracious, 
the most faithful Friend 
and my forgiving, caring, 
patient, loving God.
